This natural slate is blue/grey/plum when dry and darkens to blue/plum when wet, blue slate 40mm is beautiful in any statement piece.

Our slate comes from Kirby in Furness in Cumbria, Southern Lake District, this British slate is renowned for its strength, durability, and colour fastness.

Slate is perfect for garden pathways and driveways as the shape of the blue slate 40mm allows the slate to bed down in use, ensuring a more comfortable walking surface. 

All slates are low maintenance, ideal for weed prevention, and great for water features.

With all naturally quarried products there will always be an element of dust on all materials. The dust can be cleared by simply hosing the materials once laid or letting nature take its course by letting the dust wash away over time with rainfall.
